New Episodes - From Eels to Estuaries: Virtual Learning with CURB

Elle is back with two new episodes of From Eels to Estuaries: Virtual Learning with CURB. In the first video she takes a closer look at ocean acidification, a problem facing the shellfish of our oceans and estuaries. Participate in an at-home experiment which shows how acidification breaks down shells.

In the second video, Elle teaches us about the sturgeon, a prehistoric-like fish found in the Hudson River. She'll show us some sturgeon artifacts, as well as lead us in an at-home craft!

Lessons are appropriate for elementary to middle school aged students. Videos are released bi-weekly on Tuesdays and may be found on our YouTube page, as well as the Student Section of our website.
