APRIL 18: HIGH SCHOOL RIVER RESEARCH SHOWCASE
12 PM - 2 PM
Come support and learn from CURB’s EELS (Evaluating Estuary Lateral Species) Team of Yonkers students as they showcase their yearlong projects. Presentations will be followed by a seining (net fishing) activity in the Hudson River. Please register here.


MAY 30: COMMUNITY SEINING FOR FISH MIGRATION DAY
10 AM - 12 PM
Join CURB staff om the Hudson for a turn at seining and adding to our
aquatic population research. This activity is organized as a first come
first serve basis for those ages 5+ at the park beach.
All materials needed for seining provided on site.


JUNE 27: SUMMER KICK-OFF WATERFRONT FESTIVAL
12 PM - 5 PM
Celebrate the waterfront with Yonkers Paddling and Rowing Club
Hudson River Riders, Beczak Environmental Education Center, and
CURB for a day of fun in the sun.


AUGUST 8: BLUE TEAM ENVIRONMENTAL DAY OF ACTION
12 PM - 3 PM
Yonkers youth leaders, part of the CURB Blue Team, have organized a
day full of science learning, interactive activities, and fun throughout
Habirshaw Park!
